You are viewing an antique brooch that has a beautify scene carved into shell.  The scene has trees, houses, a stone fence and a lady.  The metal is gold in color - possibly gold filled, perhaps gold tone.  It has a scalloped effect that is somewhat off balance - one side larger than the other, but still beautiful.  The brooch measures 2" tall and 1 and 3/4" wide.
