Offered is this charming PAIR of cream soup saucers made in England by Crown Ducal in a transferware pattern called Bristol. You are bidding on the SAUCERS ONLY. We assume these saucers are intended for cream soup bowls as they are slightly larger than regular saucers.
The semi-vitreous china blank is creamy-white with dark-pink designs of flowers and exotic birds.
Bristol is Crown Ducal’s most sought-after patterns. It was introduced in 1931 and remained in production for several years.
The scalloped blanks feature embossed rim with a floral border design.
The saucers measure 6.25 inches in diameter (16 cm).
Very good used condition. No chips or cracks. Fine crazing as is typical of this dinnerware.
