    Description

Up for your consideration is an original World War II U.S. Officers named Ike jacket.
Bidding starting at .99 with NO RESERVE.
Overall condition is good. Uniform retains all of it's original buttons.
After lots of searching and trying to make out the serial number, and name. This jacket was positively identified to a Two war veteran from Minnesota.
The screen shots shown in the above photos are from online during my research.
During The Second World War, LT COL Hanson was attached to the Second Infantry Division after being transferred from the 34th Red Bulls 135th Inf Reg National Guard division out of Minnesota.
It appears as though the left shoulder patch, along with the ribbon bars, collar, and rank insignia were removed.
This quite possibly had been done by the vet after the war to transfer the insignia to his new jacket.
This uniform came out of the wood work out of the Twin Cities here in Minnesota from an individual who had purchased this jacket at an estate sale decades ago.
This jacket is In need of additional research as this officer was a two war veteran and I'm sure there is some great information out there.
