    Description

    A pair of antique purple transferware Bristol Crown Ducal salt and pepper shakers.  They are 4" tall x 2 1/4" at the widest point.  They have the original stoppers marked 'patent no. 489062 England'. The shakers are in wonderful condition. The stoppers are an old type of plastic and look dry, and they may need to be replaced with corks or another form of stopper.  They are intact now but if taken out, they may crack or chip.
