USMC Marine Corps PFC Ship's Detachment Blouse

Description

Up for sale is this named, 1943 contract dated ship's detachment PFC blouse.  The uniform is double named in the lining of the sleeve.  The size is a 3M, pretty average for the time.  The PFC chevrons are wool on wool and are machine sewn to the blouse, as is the rarer felt version of the ship's detachment patch.  The blouse also has a ruptured duck discharge patch on the chest.
This auction is for the blouse only, the belt and ribbons are on the uniform to show how it could be displayed.  The blouse has a very nice set of matching 1937 pattern enlisted collar EGAs that to my knowledge are original to the uniform.
The blouse is being sold as a collectable item and is not sold to be worn.  There is no mothing and the blouse will display nicely for its next owner.
