Thanks for checking out this item!  Up next is the
Vintage 1979 Alpha Probe #325 Space Shuttle Adventure People Play Set by Fisher-Price. Comes w/the male & female astronauts & I'm also throwing in the Clawtron Robot action figure as well.
Playset was actually mine as a child and has been stored away in a trunk in my parent's attic for nearly 40 years.  I've cleaned & sanitized it before repackaging it for this auction.
I would say the overall condition is good.  There are some scuff marks and wear on the tail fin (please refer to the pictures).  The bay doors and slide-out seat both function perfectly. No issues with the smaller recon shuttle pod.  I tracked down a 9V battery to test and the lauch button sound (1st button) works great and sounds loudly.  (It's a new battery, and I've left in the shuttle, so it will be included.)  The 2nd button which is suppose to play a digital computer sound sequence doesn't appear to function, it just makes a squelching sound when I pressed it.  3rd button works great with the alarm sound and turns on both the red lights which light-up and flash.
Great quality and durability for a vintage toy.
I think this is the rare older toy item that children of the 21st century would still want to play with and/or would also make a great addition to any vintage toy collector out there.  Good luck to you!
