Vintage Mid Century Modern Porcelain Cat Figurines Freeman Mcfarlin?

Description

These seldom seen cool cats exemplify atomic Mid Century Modernism with their stylized flat faces and bow ties. I believe there were made by Freeman Mcfarland of El Monte, CA circa mid 1950s. The standing cat measures 4 1/4" widest x 6 1/4" tallest and the sitting cat is approximately 6" wide by 5 1/2" tall. They are glazed solid gloss black with faux gemstone eyes. Condition is perfect; no chips, cracks, paint loss or other imperfections.
