    Description

    WW II U.S.Army Officers Uniforms-Winter/Summer-Rare China-Burma-India Theater.
    Known Provenance. Winter Uniform custom made Desmonds, Southern California, Summer made by Macy's New York City, 1943-1944. Few Americans fought in this campaign to open the Burma Road so Free Chinese forces could be supplied from India. These two uniforms flew "Over the Hump," that is the Himalayas, and were worn in Chungking, now Sinkiang after the surrender of the Japanese.
    Both good condition with minor stains right shoulder summer tunic, 5-6 small moth holes. Includes trousers and ties. Only one summer field cap. I'm keeping the captain's bars but will include one campaign stripe. Three buttons missing.
    One CBI patch is silver thread, other is regulation embroidery. Lapel pins Caduceus with S. Size is approx. 38-40 Reg, pants 32-34 W, 32-34 L.
