WW2 , 1947, US Air Force Lt. Colonel Willis (Bill) A. Dewey dress uniform, complete with jacket, shirt, tie, pink suspenders, pants with belt, dress visor hat, overseas garrison hat. The book includes some pictures of the Lt. Col. along with several training certificates.
Lt. Col. Bill Dewey was the grandson of Admiral George Dewey,  the only person named Admiral of the Navy.
Uniform was custom tailored and made in Germany, see uniform tags. This uniform set includes
16 pages of documentation
including a picture of the Lt. Colonel standing on the deck of a ship and another shown with his WW2 buddies (Lt. Col Dewey circled in red), many training certificates. Museum quality uniform also includes all of his ribbons and the Lt. Col. silver leaf insignias. Just a beautiful uniform collection spanning the military career of a war time hero, from WW2, through the Korean war and finally retiring at the beginning of the Vietnam war.
11 ribbons from top left to bottom right:
1) Bronze Star, 2) Air Force Commendation, 3) American Campaign, 4) European African Middle Eastern Campaign, 5) WWII Victory ribbon, 6) WWII Occupation ribbon, 7) National Defense, 8) Korean Service ribbon with three service stars, 9) USAF Longevity with 3 silver oak leaves, 10) Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation with Gold Frame, 11) United Nations Service ribbon.
No size labels, measurements are: Jacket - top shoulder seam to top shoulder seam = 19", chest = 44", top shoulder seam to bottom of cuff = 25". Pants - waist = 36", length = 41". Shirt - top shoulder seam to top shoulder seam = 18", chest = 44", top shoulder seam to bottom cuff= 24". Both the visor and garrison hats are 7 1/4.
