    Description

WWII USAAF Tunic and trousers named to 1st Lt Charles Ray Krimmel. He flew the hump in CBI theater, his planes name was "Dirtie Gertie". He enlisted 25 June 1941 and mustered out 25 October 1945. His service number was O-748687. He was born 19 June 1917 in Glendale, MO and died 18 January 1997 in Webster Grove, MO. I just found his air medal award documentation and added it to the pictures (02/19). Also a newspaper clipping from his home town paper. This is one of the best preserved bullion wings I've seen. All bullion insignia except the LT bars. Excellent condition.
