    Description

Offered here is a World War II 3rd Infantry Division four pocket tunic. The tunic features hand sewn insignia including a 3rd Infantry Division patch on the left shoulder, private chevrons on each arm, and overseas bars on the lower left arm. The collar features 2 three piece screw back collar discs, one “U.S.” disc and one infantry disc. The left chest is quite decorated and features a clutch back Combat Infantry Badge, pin back ribbons including a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, ETO ribbon with 2 campaign stars and invasion arrowhead, and a Good Conduct Ribbon. There is also a expert marksman badge with machine gun bar. The badge is marked “Sterling”. There is also a French Fourragere shoulder cord on the left shoulder. There is also a machine sewn ruptured duck patch over the right pocket.
There are several faint ID markings stamped and written in the lower right interior. They are hard to read but I included a photograph.
The tunic is stamped “35R” in the collar and retains its original spec tag in the lower right pocket. The jacket was manufactured by Jacob Reed’s Sons and is marked as a size 35R.
The tunic is very clean and there are no major rips, mothing, or stains. All original buttons are in place.
    Approximate measurements are:
Arm length from shoulder to cuff: 23”
Shoulder to shoulder across the back: 15 - 1/2”
Back from collar to waist: 28”
Terms and Conditions: payment through PayPal. No returns accepted. All sizes are approximate and I do not accept returns for “it doesn’t fit.” Ships to the United States lower 48 only. Item will usually ship within 3 business days. I do not make money on shipping. Shipping charges include handling fees and by bidding on the item, the potential buyer agrees to pay the full pre-quoted shipping charge.
I have described the tunic to the best of my abilities. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
